That would be a cool idea, too, but I'm trying to reserve all my hat knitting for the chemo caps my knitting group are doing. We're getting pretty busy with finding folks to donate too and finding yarn donations. It's becoming a LOT of fun, though! I just casted on a hat last night in paton's mosaic yarn, it's soooo soft and fun. Can't wait to see how it turns out!

Baby bibs are also super easy and good practice as you can pretty much use any stitch.

You know, if someone had told me I was crazy to knit anything but a rectangle for my first project BEFORE I didn't it, I probably would have believed them.  But they didn't, and I didn't know, so there ya go.
