Now see, yours looks very thick whereas the other entry, the shrug, looks fragile.  What's the deal with cassette tape?  Is it all different?

hahaha i was totally going to do this exact project. i guess i don't have your patience because the tape kept ripping and making me angry. I think i was using a bad sized needles. oh well. yours came out fantabulously, way to go!

probably because the shrug is knitted and this is crocheted.

If you put a strand of something else in there with the cassette tape, it works quite well.
