i absolutely love these little fish! good with fabric for .25 cents. .25 cent fabric rocks!
my most recent bag. i didn't think i would like using these types of bags, even though i love making them, but i found that i love using them too. they fit a lot more stuff than one would think.

FISHES!!!

I love this purse...it looks pretty simple to make and being a beginner at sewing it might be a good purse for me to try...would you do a tutorial?

I'm curious how you make the handle...

Good work!

How did you do the handles? I have some black vinyl sitting here, and I want to make a cutout handle bag from it, but I'm terrified of the handles. I've done a bit of reading on previous posts on Craftster, but there seems to be a few different ways of doing it.

It looks like you may have used interfacing to make the handles sturdy?  Just asking.  Everyone wants to know about the handles!  Cute cute!

You can also use plastic canvas around the handle cutouts.

Tutorial here removed at the request of Amy Butler Design.

If you'd like to learn to make this purse, please purchase her pattern:
