I had thumbed through a Crochet with Wire book I saw at the bookstore and went home and came up with this:

I used 18 gauge wire, and a bunch of beads I recycled from a bag of broken jewelry I got at a thrift store and a size G crochet hook that was a little beat up.

I strung all the beads first and just started crocheting.
I fastened it with a silver toggle.

those beads are so pretty! i love it alll, it does indeed look like it would cost a lot of money is some fancy pants store.
