This is yet another costume I made for the Revenge of the Sith midnight movie premier back in May. But this one was made for my boyfriend. We went as a group with other people dressed in costume and it was loads of fun. We kinda expected to be the only ones dressed up because my town is full of old people (Florida), but we were wrong...SO wrong. There were storm troopers, imperial officers, Jedi, and even Darth maul! I was the only Twi'lek though. ^_< It was a blast!

I apologize that the top pictures look a little dim because the sun was setting and a storm was rolling in...But hey, it's Florida. >_<

Jedi Robe (old webcam pic):

Hood:

The photos at the top are newer and clearer because they were taken for ebay. The bottom ones are older (from back in May) and taken with a webcam, and show the giant cuddly Jedi robe, which we are not parting with. Hehe ^_<

wow!! How long did it take you to make those?

They didn't agree on much. In fact they rarely agreed on anything. They fought all the time and they challenged each other everyday. But in spite of their differences they had one important thing in common. They were crazy about each other.

It's a Master Replica's Force FX Light Saber, they run around $100 but It's the best replica out there. The light actually scrolls up and down when you turn it on and off, It's made of solid chrome, and it makes noises (sound bites from the movie) when you tap it on stuff. This one is Anakin's replica.  I guess you could say it's deluxe. ^_<

Two weeks. Could have been faster if I had stuck to the pattern I bought. (Simplicity 5840) I tailored it more to his size and based half of it on a Japanese Kekogi  pattern. The robe is pretty much like the pattern, but with a different hood and modified sleeves. I also snuck in a pocket. ^_<

Hehe, thanks for all the kind compliments! My boyfriend's ego is way inflated now...lol ^_<

I have some more costumes in the works now that I've learned how to utilize latex. I have more Jedi costumes hitting the drawing board (Shaak Ti & Allyah Secura) as well as a giant Jabba the Hutt bean bag chair. ^_<
