Rocketship Bag!

I made this for a friend! I found these cute little rocketship appliques at a cool sewing store in Vancouver. Its basically just a jordy bag, and the stars are machine stitched on! I love it, and I thought I would share!



I wish you could see the rocket things better, but they get a sort of glare, since they are metallic silver! They were only 49c!

awesome bag!!  what stitch did you use for the stars?  just a straight stitch with some crafty manuvering and lots of backstitching?  and is that a vinyl or leather, or maybe some pleather for the purse?

Its vinyl, and the stitching is just a machine stitch. I went forward a bit, then back stitched half way, then turned the fabric so to make a cross, forward a bit, back half way, turned the fabric, forward, backward etc!
