That is a pretty color!

Chutes to Narrow: is the quote under your avatar from Angela's Ashes? I'm reading that book now (it's so good) and that is the only place I have ever heard the word "pram".
such a lovely color, ludo. props on using the tubing Smiley

i'm not chutes to narrow, but i think that's a quote from monty python and the holy grail. i can't guarantee it (because i'm american) but i think the word pram is what the british call strollers.

That is really neat, and yes, a pretty colour!

British people do call strollers 'pram's, as we do in New Zealand, and we also call them 'buggies'

"the knights of camelot....I have to push the pram a lot!" (or something similar!)
Yes tis from Monty Python....which is great...haha

Oh,I feel a little dumb now. I thought that "pram" was what the British called strollers.
sorry ludo, i feel like we took over you thread. but seriously, i like that purse.
as for a pram, i think it means those things that measure distance when you push it.and yes it is a quote from monty python and the holy grail.that movie is so awesome.

Thanks for the nice comments (and I am enjoying the pram discussion)!

I think "pram" is short for perambulator, which is indeed a very long-winded way of saying BOTH baby carriage and something that measures distance traveled by a wheel (who knew? Not me!). I think the Latin it comes from translates literally as "one who walks about".

It is pretty.  The shininess, prettiness, and bow-like knitting remind me of...  (sorry).... Christmas!

What an adorable bag!  It's so cute, and I think I'm going to try and make one of my own!  What a great idea!

i just stumbled across this purse in procrastinating going to class, but i have to say i love it and am inspired to make one of my own now... good to know about thoughts on handles and lining.... maybe since I'm stuck in a dorm room with no easy access to a fabric store i'll have to sacrifice some old t-shirts, though....
