Seeing your afghan inspired me to get busy and start using up some of the yarn I have left over from various projects. I have a lot of bright colored yarn left from scarves, etc., in worsted weight so am using that for the hexagons and then will crochet them together with black yarn. I love how easy and fast the hexagons can be made and that it's a great take along project that I can work on when I have a few minutes of time here and there. This is a great project instead of the traditional granny squares that seem to take forever. Ten done and 290 more to go!
