When Cassiemarie hatched the brilliant idea for a "My country doesn't have that" swap I wanted to join in on the fun, but couldn't. I was too swamped with other stuff.
Now I'm just wondering if anyone would be up for a Part 2? And if anyone would organize it?
(I have just been in 2 swaps and would feel too newbie to do it
Here's what I can think of that my country do
have, and would be easy to find for you guys:
Candies and chocolate bars. Swedish. European. (Lindt, Kinder Egg, Ritter Sports etc) and others.
Crisp bread / Ryvita.
Elk / moose stuff.
(I noticed someone wanted elk jerky in the first MCDHT round)
Yarns. Lovikka and others.
Nice fabrics (esp. vintage).
All sorts of craft related things. Supplies. Traditional and modern patterns. Magazines.
FACE Stockholm Make up. (http://www.facestockholm.com
Sexy wooden clogs.
Acne jeans. (http://www.acnejeans.com
Cheap Monday jeans.
Julian Red jeans.
Nudie jeans. (http://www.nudiejeans.com
Filippa K clothes.
Dala horses. And other touristy pretty things.
Some things on my list are kinda expensive, but I'm sure we could make some sort of a deal if anyone's interested. (And the reason I'm listing so many Swedish jeans brands is because of a friend of mine, who studied in the states and just came home, told me that Swedish jeans apparently is, and I quote: "the shit" over there.
If it really is I sure didn't know. But they are very nice. That I know.
And of course I could supply you with Swedish music, all sorts of ephemera, papers and such.
So, what do you guys think?
