I know you posted this a while ago, but I was just lurking around as usual and found this thread. I'm a little sad that no one else has responded! I am in Fredericksburg, just on the edge of downtown. I'm not personally aware of any stitch-n-bitch groups, but I am working up my courage to check out the Knitter's Cottage on William St. Have you met any crafters-in-crime locally yet?

I live in Fredericksburg + have started sewing clothing + such. I don't know a whole lot about everything yet, I'm still a beginner though.

I'm in Fburg too. I'm mostly into sewing but I'm not adverse to getting crafty in other ways too.  Grin

Chuck Norris does not knit. He bangs the table, and the shockwaves force the yarn to create clothing.

I don't live in that area, but I used to go to Mary Washington, and now I'm sad that I'm not there and can't join the crafting group  Cry

I know this topic is a bit old, but I am new to Craftster and just found it.  I go to Mary Wash but live in Spotsy.  I just learned to knit and was wondering if anyone has been to the Knitter's Cottage on William St?  I'm kinda scared going in there so I was just wondering what the atmosphere was like..ie if they are friendly or yarn/knitting snobs.

Thanks,

Jenn
