Holy cow!

I received my package from glasskatana today. These were the contents:

one set of long black ribbed gloves with white lace

one set of black gloves with gorgeous spiderweb lace and eyelets (and don't worry about the leather, either Tamara; I just didn't want anyone slaughtering a whole cow or anything Wink)

AND a zip cardigan with vertical black and white stripes b/c I'd mention I liked Tim Burton, and well I think I'll just quote from her email:

Quote
there's extra beads and ribbon just in case. and a referee jacket cuz I think it's fun, but have only worn it once since I was a referee. It's kindof Tim-Burtonny with the stripes and all. I hope you think it's fun too. I won't be insulted if you cut it up though!

As if. It fits great too! Seriously, I've BOUGHT cardigans that don't fit as well.

She also put in extra buttons, ribbons and fabric dye.

I'm just so very happily surprised. Thank you.

And I have taken photos, but my brother's hijacked the cord so I'll try to get them up tomorrow.

A la Wayne's World, "I'm not worthy! Not worthy!"

Oh I'm such an idiot.

I thought I posted about Duckie's gloves she sent me already, but maybe i didnt.

They're a beautiful ribbed knit fingerless glove with a knitted thumb and they will be quite warm I'm sure and go a ways up my arm. They must have taken a long time, especially since she dyed the wool herself! I was quite impressed and they're so pretty and fit great, and they got to my place super quick! AND I can't even knit or anything myself so they're PERFECT!! I love 'em, Duckies a wonderful swap partner!!

well, i still haven't any pictures, but this is a detail from a picture a friend took where I happened to be wearing or putting them on or something. so you can seem the purple is a little bit dark and you can't see how long they are, but- ya.
