okay. I got my second package and a surprise third package yesterday (had to pick it up at the PO).

Anyhow, I WILL FINALLY post pictures tonight. Promise.

A surprise third? Who was the from??? Is it a treat because you helped out and sent to two people?

Since bobolink already posted pictures, I'm going to post pictures of my fave. items she sent.

First of all, I really loved the box.

postcards:

the ship passport, pictures, and tickets:

and I REALLY love the fish bag... I know it's just a paper bag... but I really like it.

***

Craft_t_chic sent me an equally amazing box from cleveland, ohio.

here's a look inside (after I loked at everything. hehe):

she made an amazingly detailed scrapbook with pictures, paper clippings, adverts., and all sorts of nifty things:

more stuff she sent. Everything was labelled:

(LOVE the wallet. Haha)

and my new pets: Mexican Jumping Beans. I currently have them on a soapdish. I even looked up care instructions for these guys online:

***

Also, Lucy van pelt sent me a piece of Tampa Bay:

I'm glad you looked up the care instructions! I forgot to tell you that until the box was sealed! I have some and the ticking of the box is driving me crazy!!!!

I am so glad you finally got the package. I know it took what feels like forever!

dude, it was well worth the wait!

Plus, I know what it feels like to be stuck between a rock and a hard place when it comes to sending on time.

Yeah, the clicking is driving my hamster nuts. Hah. I think she thinks someone else is in the room? I just lined the soapdish with cloth.

Thanks for posting pics icrispyi!
I'm glad you like the bag. I saw some people walking down the street with it, from my local grocery store and I was like 'I've got to go in and buy something so I can get one of those for my swap'- and I did. I think they thought I was weird when I insisted on a paper bag for a can of soda Wink
I'm finally organized enough to take pictures and they're on my camera, but my batteries died so I charged them overnight and they promptly died again Sad I'm not sure what's going on.. maybe I need new batteries. I'll get pics up as soon as my camera decides to cooperate again, sorry it's taking me so long.

Ok here are the long promised pictures of the great stuff icrispyi sent me:

A really cool selection of photos and postcards. I love the freeway photo, it's so stereotypical LA and I love the state California postcard cause it shows my area too.

And here are the brochures. The funniest thing is my boyfriend and I are considering a road trip to LA so I was actually looking at these in a practical way. My favorite is the museum guides, I love museums and reproductions of art and since we're thinking of going to Universal Studios that brochure is great too!

Lucyvanpelt was so sweet and sent me a package since I was flaked on.  She sent menus, a postcard, a map, a baseball cap, and (my favorite) a lightbulb shaped stress ball, as well as other goodies.  Thank-you so much for picking up the slack!
