oh im really sorry about the darkness of the picture... but if you stand up a bit and look at your monitor that way, you can see the pom poms at the bottom better. sorry for the inconvenience! >.< i didnt notice how dark it was until now!

your scarf kind of blows away the doddy-ugly-uncool perception i had of pom poms. very, very neat. how are they sewn on? they seem staggered vertically, did you just pick a random spot and put the pom pom there or are the ends shapped different?

that is a really great scarf. i wish i could see the ends a little better. it does look like the ends are seperate and different lengths though. are they? did you make the pattern up yourself?

I think it's neat! Are the ends split off and then pompoms attatched? I don't know how to word that correctly and i can't see in the photo!

hi hi!~
hey thanks a lot guys! ^_^ yah i really like pom poms (heh heh) so i decided to make a scarf with em. i just knit up a skinny ish stockinette scarf (which rolls up by itself bcos of the stitch) and i made different sized poms. i just tied the pom poms on really tight at different positions at each end of the scarf, and i cut off the excess yarn.

oh and sorry guys for the not-so-brightly-lit pic! >.< ill try to take a better picture of the pom pom detailing. but hopefully youll be able to sorta imagine what it looks like. or better yet... ill put a pic of the pom pom detailing that i made on ms paint. ^_^; here it is:

ha ha. now that i see it, it sorta looks like the scarf has some weird disease or something. Cheesy but hope you guys have a better picture of it! cheers!

hi hi!~
aww thanks again for the compliments! : D oh, and thanks you ph33lth3lov3 for putting up a brighter picture! ^_^

also, to shakes, i just used a stockinette stitch, which caused the scarf to roll up by itself. for my scarf i did put a small border of garter stitches (i knitted 3 garter stitches at the beg and end in addition to the stockinette stitches).  but i dont think it really matters whether you put a border or not cos either way itll roll up. ^_^; well, cheers!
