hi hi!~
okay so this is my first post... well, on this account anyway. ^_^;

welps, heres a hat i made for a friend of my brothers. we were browsing through the yarn selection at michaels (because i wanted to find yarn for a jacket, thus adding to my mountain of a collection of yarn... >.<) he spotted a really obnoxious looking orange yarn (it looks a lot brighter in the store) and fell in love. Cheesy so i offered to make a hat for him.

he requested cat ears, stripes on back (sorry you cant see it in the picture), a brim, and to have x's for the eyes. so, being the coolest lil sister i am Cheesy i knitted it up for him. hope you guys enjoy!

he looks sorta constipated in that picture... ^_^; heres another one:

ha ha. i told him to strike a pose...its a lil brighter, so you can see the hat a lil clearer.
so sorry that i couldnt have gotten a better view of the hat in both pics tho! >.< you can sorta see the eyes and stuff on it... ill post up a pic of the detailing soon.

thank you so much for looking! Cheesy

Nice job!  That is so much fun!

Does anyone else think this may have more to do with "being the hot, buff friend of the older brother?"  Wink, wink. Wink Because that is totally the reason I would have done this for some guy when I was younger!

Haha!  How fun!  It's a more creative version of the usual kitty ear hat.  Great way to make it guy-friendly!

Debbies only get respect in the knitting world.  How unfair is that?

Because Poe wrote on both of them.

Anyone up for a Jasper Fforde swap?
