So I decided my fiance's dog needed a coat cause he gets cold when we go for our late night walks.  I used a combination of the doggy coat pattern in SNBN and the skull chart from the beaded wristbands.  I changed the pattern to suit my tastes a little bit too.  Ok, on to the pictures

Bear in his coat.  (ignore my so sexy pjs.  lol)

Next time I am definitely duplicate stitching any pattern I want on because I absolutely hated sewing in all of those ends after doing intarsia for the skull.  Tell me what you think!

Thanks! Grin

he's part pomeranian and part poodle, we think.  he's a cutie.  i love that skull pattern.  i'm duplicate stitching it onto a hat for my fiance right now.

LOVE this! I've been planning a sweater for our puppy, but I'm afraid to start it now because he's still growing. My husband says our dog will only wear a sweater if it is Notre Dame themed (because we're alumni, thus the name Gipper), so I guess I'll have to come up with a chart on my own for that pattern.
Did the dog mind wearing it?

No, Bear didn't mind after he rolled all over the living room trying to get it off.  lol  He appreciated it when we went for our walk that night though.  I looked on the net for a chart you could use and I couldn't believe there wasn't one.  I've made my own charts before though and if you need any help I'd be more than happy to.  Thanks for your reply!

That's so cute.  My dog would hate to wear a sweater too...but she would look so cute for the five minutes we could keep it on her.

That's the best dog sweater ever. Great work! I've been wanting to make my dog a skull and crossbone tshirt... perfect for little doggies, they think they are soooo tough.
