I'm a nerd. This has been established many, many times. So, last halloween, after the horrible failure that was the Zombie Faerie Princess outfit (complete with zombie bunny couterpart) (as pictured below):

I decided to go with something a little less last minute, and a little more flippin' sweet.

So, a week into November, I started making a Hawkgirl helmet.
Then I tried my hand at a corset (which I haven't gotten quite right yet). This was followed by slathering a pair of boots with fabric paint and foamies. Add a pair of granny panties and some green tights, and you're nearly done.

All that it needs now is a pair of wings, which are in the works. Pretty much, what I need right now is feedback. I've stalled on this little lady. I need to get in gear if I want to get her done in 2 1/2 months.

I have a friend that carves awesome wings out of foam rubber.
Her deviant art page is here
She is also on some cosplay board, but I don't know which one.
Good luck with the wings.
The costume looks great so far!

Awesome costume! You should get some friends to be some of the other Justice Leauge charaters (heros or villians) or even just Hawk Man.

I'm trying to rope someone into doing a Greenlantern or Wonderwoman. But something tells me that the Emily shall be all alone in her doings of comicbook costumes.

After the wings though, you gotta do the spiked mace!  That would be easy AND fun.  And you can bonk people on the head with it!

You still can't have my Pan Pants though  Grin
