A long, adjustable black web strap contrasts nicely with the purple fur fabric.  The fur is a mottled, swirly purple and has circles in the nap.  Did you do that yourself kmsmaverick or did the fabric come like that? Either way, it is very cool.

Oh! i'm glad you like it sarcastra! The fabric came that way. I confess, it's not typically my style, but afterwards i made a scarf out of it. it had to be the hottest and most sticky day of the summer here on the east coast, and i made a winter scarf out of fake fur. what a weirdo.

i really am glad you dig it!

Yay, so happy my package finally got to zenochka.  Here is a picture of the purse and zipper pouch I made her.  They are both lined in a matching blue and the purse has a slash pocket inside.

StarSix received yesterday so here is a quick pic of what I sent her.

A wine colored flannel with black curlicues was used for the short tote, which is lined in black.
A zippered pouch and a tissue package cover.  The tissue in the photo was a prop - the package inside is new, sealed, ready for use.

Thanks for posting a pic, Sarcastra   And everyone loved that tote. I've received many compliments on it.

cute bag!  i love the concept of a tissue holder too....

so i'm holding off on giving feedback for this swap because i'd like to find out that everyone got their stuff first. but if this is your first swap and you need the feedback (and your package has been received, of course!) please let me know, and i'll update you so you are available for another swap.

for updates on who has sent and who has received, check out:  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=47505.msg433803#msg433803

if you have sent and your partner has received and i did not note you as such in the above mentioned thread, please let me know.

I know nico_tiro's is going to Canada and I did send it airmail so I'm hoping she got it, the post office said it takes 4-7 days or as long as 10 days so who knows!!
