I'm the same size as you - I'm making the XS and its definitely not too small, I would go with that

Thanks, ysolda!  I'll keep on going with XS then!  I'm so excited about this one- the Wool Cotton is really knitting up nicely and the color's so pretty!

Has everyone received that email from Jenna with the revision so the neckline isn't too low?

Yep, I got it.  I'm actually still concerned that the neckline might still be a bit too low for me, so I might have to tweak the pattern a little to make it a bit higher... but considering my math skills suck, I'm just going to cross that bridge when I come to it.  (I'm just 1/2" into the pattern still!  Tongue )

Argh.  I've started the increases, and my "M1" looks like an eyelet!  I think there is some kind of "twist" you are supposed to do to it that I just didn't get; I'm going to wind up with twelve little random holes in my sweater if I don't figure it out.

Damn!

there are videos here on how to do it. Just make sure that you lift the bar between you stitches up and then knit into the back of it.

oh and im done - i added beads and leaves... I'll post pics later

Thanks.  I'll check that out.  Meanwhile . . . .WOW!  That looks GORGEOUS!  It's so elegant -- you took a beautiful pattern and made it even more so.  When you get a better camera, please post a picture of the beading details, because that is incredible looking from here!

What do you all think about using Knitpicks Shine with this pattern?  Do you think it would work out okay?

All these finished ones look great!  I can't decide if I'm doing this or Orangina next--I got some Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece for this one though.

I'm not sure if Shine would work--I think it would look nice, I'm just not sure about the elasticity.  I haven't used it yet myself, though.

I also want to use knitpicks shine for this pattern (alpaca & silk mmm!) and make one for my mom.  However, I'm on a budget and it doesn't give a yardage estimate on the page before you buy the pattern, so I was wondering, uh, what's the yardage on this for a medium?  for a small?  how about x-small? (Just might make this for myself, and I'm xs).
