single girl swap?

how about a swap for us single girls? kind of like an anti-guy swap. we could make each other cd's of angry girl music, journals to vent about how much guys suck, t-shirts saying "ditch him", etc. it could be good for those of us recently heartbroken, frustrated with dating, sick of guys or just happy being single.

if there's enough interest, i'd be happy to organize it.

by the way, you male crafters and those with husbands/boyfriends, we do still love you.

This sounds cool    I love the idea of a single girl swap and think that it'll be splendid if we stick to the swap name "The Single Girl Swap!" and let folks decide on what to craft for their swap partners.  After the swap partners have been assigned, perhaps we could pm our partners and try and figure out their 'state of singleness' (i.e. just ended a relationship and in need of cheering up, just got ditched and is in a rather pissed state, enjoying life as a singleton, single but not available, etc...).  Just my 2 cents.

I would love to participate in this swap but I've already signed up to do my very first swap and won't be allowed to do others until that one is completed    However, I will keep checking this thread.  If this swap is organized after my first swap is complete, I'd join for sure!

I like the concept, but I would only want to do it from a "happy single girl" attitude - the anti-guy approach doesn't work for me.  Would this be specifically a "love sucks" kind of swap, or would it include "I'm single and I'm looking for ways to celebrate and be happy about it?"

I think the concept is terrific and I'm definitely not an anti-guy kinda gal.  Heck...it's a love-hate relationship of the good kind    However, I wouldn't mind crafting things that have anti-guy undertones if they're done with a good dose of humor.  For example, my guy friends always jest that men are better when it comes to cooking on the grill.  Well, my gal friends and I disagree and came up with the following retort "It does not take a dangly part to grill!".  I can totally see that printed on a cutesy apron!
