Alright, i tried to organize a swap before(about a year ago), but a lot of stuff was going on. SO, I decided, hey it's summer i have a job($$$$$ for swap) and time(hey, it's summer!).  So... here goes.

Swap name: Favorite Band/ Song Tote or T-Shirt Swap
Craftster member who is organizing this swap: msbeautifull
Sign-up date range: 15-25 August 2005
Date to send item by: 15 September 2005

Limited to a certain number of people? Nope.

Non-U.S. participants allowed? Sure thing.

All ages allowed? Or 18+? Everybody

Organizer is aware of current list of "suspended traders"
list and will not allow those members to participate: YES!

Organizer meets the 4 conditions for swapping and will make sure that every participant meets these conditions: YES

Details of swap:
This swap is based on the element of surprise.  You name your top 3 bands and favorite song(s) by them.  Then, your partner will pick T-shirt or tote, which band, and whether to craft the band or a song.

If you want to participate, information to send to organizer:

QUESTIONNAIRE TO ANSWER:
Name of swap: Song/Band Tee or Tote Swap
Craftster username:
Email address:
Your real name:
Mailing address:
Would you be willing to ship to an address outside of the US?
Favorite bands:
T-shirt size:
Favorite colors:
Least favorite colors:
Other information about yourself you feel an inclination to divulge:

IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE, REMEMBER TO SEND YOUR INFO TO ORGANIZER VIA PRIVATE MESSAGE AND NOT TO REPLY WITH IT HERE.

Also remember to read the Swap Info Guide to find out how to ship your item and other details about participating in a swap.

So here are the partners.  i tried my best to cater to everyone's needs and wants while giving them a partner I thought they's like and be able to craft for.

Would it be okay to request either a tote or a t-shirt, as opposed to letting our partner pick?
I just say that because I am extremely neurotic about my clothes but any kind of tote would be perfect for me.
I wouldn't want my partner to concentrate on a t-shirt that I sadly would probably not wear.
I guess I could frame it on my wall, but.....
Would that be a problem if I requested that?   Undecided

The MeowWontPurr - that is PERFECTLY fine.  Most peopel are reacting that way with saying I'd rater have a tote. And that's fine.

BUT, an idea for everyone who's thinking "hey, a tote would be fine because I'd always use it, but i really want a t-shirt."   Just find a relatively universal store whose t-shirts fit you really well.  Then you'll know the exact shirt for your partner to use.

Tnak you.  That is all.

Hey!  I'm really thinking about this!  But I'll know better in the next couple of days.

So, anyhoo, would this be a hand-made tote, or a store bought one?

it can be store bought if you lack sewing skills, but must be decorated by you!

Hubbyoed, if you could post pics of both the shirt you made, and what I made, that would be great. Smiley
