I forgot to bring the pattern today to share with everyone, but I clearly remember how I made mine. So here it is.

Materials:
size 10.5 circular needles 16" (you'll be knitting back and forth, not in the round)
worsted weight yarn (less than a skein)

CO 40 stitches
Row 1: *k1, p1, rep. from * to end of row
Row 2: *p1, k1, rep. from * to end of row

Repeat rows 1 and 2 five times for a total of 10 rows

Row 11: knit across
Row 12: *k1, yo, rep. from * to end of row
Row 13: *k1, drop yo, rep. from * to end of row
Row 14:  knit across

Repeat rows 11-14 until the drop stitch section reaches across the back from shoulder to shoulder

Knit 10 rows in seed stitch (as beginning)

Bind off

Fold in half and sew seed stitch rows to form your sleeves.

That's it! It's really easy and super fast. I did mine in about 8 hours.

Thanks bunny. Did you measure your shoulders like with osw?

Yes, I did, but I think this one stretches more that OSW does. While I was sewing up the seed stitch ends I had to sew into the drop stitch section to make it fit better.

When I make this again, I'm going to make it a little shorter so it can stretch more to show off those dropped stitches.

It would appear my blog's site has gone down.  Funny thing about friends hosting! Smiley  Your shrug looks great!  I'll try and get him to boot it back up..

I knit a few of these for very quick (procrastinator over here...) birthday presents.  naturally as soon as I gave them away, I had to make one for myself.  I used lamb's pride cotton fleece which ended up stretchy, soft, and comfortable...thank s for the cute pattern!

Megyn,
Thanks for posting this, I made one with Lamb's pride worsted on 10.5 needle.  It turned out great, but I ended up needing to give a gift fast and couldn't take a picture.  It was easy to make and very cute!   I will most likely make another for myself.
thanks again,
hst
