So, I want to revamp my room.

There's a MSPaint type version of my room cuz I'm too lazy to go upstair and take pictures of the stupid stuff...mostly since there's crap in there that isn't usually in there cuz we're cleaning carpets.

So.. there are tons of crap in my room (ie posters mostly). I want a room with a 50's/60's/70's/80's (in other words, retro) style look, and I don't think there should be many posters. I'd like to keep maybe 1 - 3 things up, but the rest are definitely going. I was also thinking about making a homemade canopy for my bd made out of an old translucent curtain (what do you think of that? If you have any ideas for it, it would be appreciated)

So.. I would appreciate some ideas of what I should do with my room.

I once made a canopy out of a huge embroidery hoop-- painted to match and a lot of tulle. (I can explain this more in detail if you are interested.) That'd be one way to make a cute and affordable canopy. It depends on what retro style you're looking for...maybe you could put up some old records on the walls.

Are you planning on painting your room? -- if not what color is it to begin?

Oh, the canopy idea sounds really kewl.

I was thinking of putting records on the wall, but I'm not sure yet.

I also forgot to say in my original thread, that I can't paint because we rent.
