I'd love to see my fellow Massachusettsian's playlist. Curious to see what songs overlapped with my list.

My digtal camera still isn't doing its thing so here is the playlist ... without pictures Sad

1. Dirty Water - The Standells
2. Satellite - Moonshot
3. More to Life - Stacie Orrico
4. Tessie - Dropkick Murphys
5. Amsterdam - Guster
6. UMass - The Pixies Addiction
7. Breakaway - Kelly Clarkson
8. Dream On - Aerosmith
9. East Coast Anthem - Good Charlotte
10. You gotta go! - Mighty Mighty Bosstones
11. MTV - Shotgun Bandits
12. Born In The USA - Bruce Sprinsteen
13. I Get A Kick Out Of You - Brown & Roach
14. My Addicition - Jupiter's Daughter
15. Dirty Water - Bronson Arroyo
16. Massachusetts - The Bee Gees

There was a great little booklette inside that explained the reasoning behind each song and/or why (how) it related to Massachusetts.

Thanks again!

It's a little funny to me to see Good Charlotte on a Mass. playlist.  Less so now, but there was a time when they were big that they were always putting out things with D.C. flags and 'repping' D.C. and all of this, but everybody here was like "you're from the boonies of Maryland, leave us alone".

I haven't received yet, and I haven't heard that my partner has received yet. I'm beginning to wonder what's up. I hope mine made it to my partner ok.

Yeah the other one was me Smiley  I didn't really mean to make it "secret" but I didn't know if it was or not and I didn't want to ruin it, but it seems as though everyone else knows so good.  Hi.

I looked at a few of your songs and I was like "Aw I should have included that!  I didn't even think of that!"  Also right after this was over I went to Newbury Comics and there was like a local bands sampler for really cheap and I was like "WHERE WAS THIS A FEW DAYS AGO AHHH!"  But yes, I like your CD.  Your packaging is marvelous from what I can see in the picture, nice job!

And peapod, I hope you enjoyed it!  Sorry about the mix up with shipping!

Ok, I have been very remiss in posting here, life was a little crazy for a while. Acesulfamek - I'm glad that you liked the 'mostly winnipeg' mix. By the time I got to Montreal there wasn't much space left on the c.d.!

I received a c.d. from someone in Seattle... but I'm not sure who because it doesn't say on the c.d. and the envelope it came in is now long gone. However, I really like it, and listen to it all the time. I can't take any pics of it, but it had a really pretty cover with an umbrella on it. Apparently it rains alot in Seattle. (I hate rain. Give me dry and windy any day) Anyways, I'm meandering. The song list:

Seattle - Bill Cosby
J Minus- Caught
The Shins- we will become silhouettes
dandy warhols - bohemian like you
wonderful - pagoda
ugly casanova - hotcha girls
jimi hendrix - all along the watch tower
nirvana - lounge act
sunny day real estate - the ocean
carissa's weird - ?
aqueduct - growing up with GNR
dalour- cleopatra eyes
the postal service - ?
smooth - make it through
united state of electronica - emerald city
united state of electronica - Vamos a la playa

Ok... about halfway through the list I decided that I was too lazy to use capitols (at all) but I imagine that it's still legible.

yay! Gink, that was from me. I can't believe I forgot to say who it was from. Hope you like it. I knew you were going to be on vacation for a while, but I was beginning to think it never made it to you. I'm a worrier. I should chill out.

Hey - this was making me think: if there is anybody who still has not gotten thier cd, send me a PM and I will check in with the person who was sending to you.  Also, if you don't mind, check to make sure your feedback is up to date (and if not, tell me to fix it!)  Thanks.

Hello, all.

I'm sure you thought we had this swap all wrapped up - but no.

There are two people who appear to have flaked out on us.  Thus there are also two people who sent out cds and have not gotten one in return.

If anybody is interested in being a swap angel to craftykate or dukeslax44, send me a pm.

Thank you!

Your frustrated first-time swap organizer.
