I've received my package from molsballou today.
OMG, I'm so happy, I can't tell!! I went running around my flat, screaming (and eating tomatos at the same time, but that's not the point). It's probably the prettiest thing I've ever seen. I haven't started listening to the CD yet as I don't have any time now (I had to leave the house before 10 minutes, but I couldn't resist posting), but..
molsballou, I don't even want to unfold the mag. It looks so.. So.. Wonderful. And your writing is very nice, BTW.
I'll post pics as soon as I get home (yes, I'm home right now but can't post).

Thanks a milliom  Grin  Grin

This is the nicest thank you I've ever seen. I started tearing up a bit reading it. I'm so glad you like the map. Hope the music pleases, too.

The cover art on the ones posted so far is great. I now feel mine is inferior. Hopefully my super cool playlist will make up for it.

Oh yeah, and I agree Sufjan Stevens is amazing. I love the IL album and not just because Chicago is my hometown.

YAY!!! Just received my CD from lupinbunny in Perth, Australia. It's fantastic.

The bad news is that I'm a total newbie and still can't figure out this whole picture posting thing. BUT, for the first time in my craftser life I was just now able to upload a picture of the CD cover to the craftster space. Now that the picture's up on Craftster, can I display it here? I know the answer is on Craftster somewhere, but I can't find the thread. help if you can.

I've got it!
(This day is fantastic.... I got gifts in the mail and figured out how to upload pics!)

Here's the cover. My camera is horrible and I don't have a scanner.

The Playlist from Perth:

i) Awake is the New Sleep by Ben Lee
ii) Bullit by Autopilot
iii) Love song from Centrelink by The Bedroom Philosopher
iv) This Day Last Year by the Panics
v) & vi) Songs from Little Birdy bootleg
vii) Inspiration by John Butler
viii) Monkeys in the Hallway by the Panics
ix) Vamos a La Player by Prawns with Horns
x) Teflon by Jebediah
xi) Baby Blue by Little Birdy
xii) Twilight-Dusk by Jebediah

I've only listenned through once, but on first take I really loved the Ben Lee and Little Birdy Songs. And I really appreciate all the descriptions about life in Perth. I think you've successfully translated your town.
Thanks so much!

whew! i'm glad you liked the little birdy stuff. I really, really like them (though its getting a bit passe to like them in their hometown), thus had no problem in dumping a bunch of their stuff on the playlist, but friends of mine can't stand her voice. I was a little worried about that.

youre 'terrible' photo throws some great light on the cover. looks even cooler than it does in real life, i think Wink

I've finally taken pics of the cover art, if I can call it this way.
(Thanks again, molsballou! The music is also very nice, I've been listening to your CD all day long. I like it as it's made of really different songs.)
So here's the tracklisting.

1. Let Me Take You Home Tonight - Boston
2. Mass Pike - The Get Up Kids
3. --- Karate (one of my personal favorites)
4. Drivin' On 9 - The Breeders
5. Let's Do It - Cole Porter (Performed by Ella Fitzgerald) (how did you guess I like Ella Fitzgerald Grin?)
6. Massachusetts - The Scud Mountain Boys
7. Duncan - Paul Simon
8. Miss Misery - Elliott Smith (I've been wanting to hear any of his songs for a while, and then, I see t h i s!)
9. Baby, Let Me Follow You Down - Bob Dylan
10. U-Mass - The Pixies
11. Just What I Needed - The Cars
12. Dream On - Aerosmith
13. Start Choppin' - Dinosaur Jr.
14. Torch Singer - Buffalo Tom
15. Girl Friend - Jonathan Richman
16. Digging in the Dirt - Peter Gabriel
17. MTA - The Kingston Trio
18. Dirty Water - The Standells

There probably isn't a song I don't like - just because I didn't write comments about each of them doesn't mean I don't have an opinion about them. Really.

And here come the pics  Wink (hope this works, I haven't had any luck posting pics before)

The map as I saw it when I took it out of the box:

The amazing unfolded map:

(Sorry for the crappy pics. First of all, my cam is a bit.. Err.. Not-so-perfect. Secondly, the resizing makes it look this way. You can't really say what's written on the white pieces of paper. Those are some phrases from songs or explanations. Awesome, don't you think  Wink?)

wow, peapod was such an amazing partner!

i went to the post office to pick up my package, and it was huge!

first the cd -

the track list - i had to take it out of the case, cause i was reflected in it while taking the picture! (and i hope you can read it, i had to reduce the quality to make the file smaller to upload it)

and she made the most beautiful little case for the cd!
front

back

she used the colour orange because it's the royal colour of the Dutch Royal Family, and all the artwork is Escher, a famous Dutch artist. (i'd forgotten he was dutch)

and lots of other goodies -

i was so lucky!

Oh, I am so happy to hear that your package arrived quickly (5 days!) and in one piece! Yippy! I am glad you like everything - hope you like some of the music too. I really tried to cover a little bit of everything since I didn't know what kind of music you like to listen to. Enjoy the choclates and coffee candies - they are two of my favourites!
