I got the cigar box from my boyfriend's dad (he smokes the nice ones every once in a while) and, on a whim, I grabbed my tube of E6000 and some plastic rhinestones, broken glass beads, whatever else I could find, went outside and glued them on. I think I did this last summer, but I just got around to taking a picture today, cause my digi cam is fairly new.

Most of the glass bits have a story behind them (not always that interesting, though), and if there's something that stands out to you, ask, and I shall explain. Alot of the broken glass beads came from those Mass 'o Glass things.

Where did you get your plastic rhinestones?
I use them a lot too, but they are very hard to find in The Netherlands (and very expensive...).
Your cigar box is amazing!

oh, thank you. it took a few hours, and lots of glue getting on my hands (probably causing cancer or some such disease)

I got them at Michaels. I have no idea if they have Michaels in the Netherlands. They were pretty cheap, if I remember.

We don't have Michaels, but I'll see if I can order them online.
Thanks!

Plastic rhinestones are the coolest!  I have a thrift store that I go to where I get to buy things by the pound and the rhinestones are one of my favorite things to get and they are practically free!

Is there a way I could get you to send me a big big big bag of them? Perhaps a swap? I could send you some Dutch stuff (well, not the stuff that Amsterdam is famous for, lol). Just let me know.

I purposefully left that on, and left it uncovered. I just thought it was too funny, with all the rhinestones and glass. Ironic in a weird way I have yet to define. And why thank you, I think it is totally awesome also. I like how I gathered all those little bits from different places, and they all came together to form a cool thing.
