Hello!

I'm 15, going on 16 and I need help planning my Sweet Sixteen party!  I want to rent a limo to pick us up from school, but I don't really know where to go from there.  I'm not sure, do you think we should go to a restaraunt? Because doesn't that eat up limo charge time?  I'm inviting my seven closest friends, by the way.

I'm open to any ideas, really.  I want to have them spend the night, and we could do something the following day, too.

Thanks!

Well, for my sweet sixteen I'm having a HUGE party. Lots of people, lots of food, video games, and so on. However, that is just me. Your idea sounds good too. Going to dinner might be a bit expensive with a limo, because I do think they charge you. Maybe you could have the limo drive you there and you could get another ride home? Spending the night would be fun. Put bunches of blankets and pillows on the floor. You could watch movies, and if you aren't too full from the dinner, make popcorn. I don't know what you could do the next day. Maybe go to the mall? Or minigolf or something?

Hey, im 15 too! n im plannin my sweet 16! ha, imagine that, lol. Whens ur b-day, like depending on the time of the month, i could try to think of sum ideas... mine is june 9th (not relevant, i know)

im havin a hollywood sweet 16 scavenger sleep over thing, with 16 of my best friends (sweet 16, 16 ppl, ha! lol)

a scavenger hunt would b fun n a limo, if ur parents or or other family made up the scavenger hunt, u and ur friends could read clues and drive to the places, and get a little prize at the end or

maybe the scavenger hunt could lead u to a cool place to eat and hang out (my cousins did that for me one year, just with no limo, we went to a lazer tag place and eat and played arcadd games too, it was fun)

if ur family isnt reely up to the task, u could find scavenger hunt kits online, not sure where to look, but u could just use google!

Ok, thanks^.  My birthday is March 21, but I'm thinking of having the party when it's a little warmer, so we can wear skirts and dress up...

The scavanger idea sounds like fun, I think my family might be up for it....

Any ideas for food?

wat bout interactive food, like taco bar, burger bar, sundae bar, pizza bar, hot dog bar, ummm, cupcake bar, hmmm, smoothie bar, etc. those r always fun!

if u and ur friends like spa stuff, u could set up a facial bar or pedi/mani bar... u can get kits at walmart or get recipes online... set out a base to all the recipes (like cold cream or yogurt) and then put bowls of other items like sea weed, (u can get sea weed for face masks at sally beauty supply cheap) mashed bananas or w/e the recipe could call for... make cards that say wat each mix-in does for your skin, so ppl can choose wat they would like for their face.... not a food idea, but still

i always have a veggie/fruit tray at my parties (i just put cucumbers, carrots, broccoli, grapes, strawberries, and dip), its not complicated, but i put one out at my party back n sixth grade and everyone ate that stuff up rite away, now ppl tell me to put one out each time i have a party, its cheap and easy but popular

make sure to have chips and dips for once some ppl have went to bed, but others r still eatin, we always have frozen pizzas in the freezer, so we normally make one of those once its too late to make noise cookin other stuff and its easy!

u could do "food around the world" have fried rice and other chinese foods, tacos or quesidillas for mexian, sausage for poland, etc. that would be fun, if u find foods that u could make that all ur friends would love!

have a snow ball fight n the summer with white panty hoes filled with flour of powdered sugar, just cut the panty hoe after u tye it and u can make 10 balls per panty hoe!

dont forget to play truth or dare at nite, loads of fun... if u need sum  ideas there are tons of web pages u can use to get cool ideas, thats wat i did and i found a ton im doin for my party (actually we r puttin dares n balloons filled with shaving cream or whipped cream, each person has to pick n pop a balloon and find their dare n the cream, then do wat every it says... i think i mite put 2 truths and 2 dares, then the person and their partner would have to decide who does which one of each, but idk yet)
