So I was poking around in my stash/yarn room tonight and came upon about 400 yards of pure silk worsted weight.  I think I want to make something with it for my bestest friend, who just moved to Las Vegas.  I know, hard life, huh?  But we've been friends for at least 20 years and she's like a sister, and even though she moved less than a month ago I miss her already.

Anyhoo..back to topic.  Couldja all please raid your knitting pattern archives and help me figure out what to do with this yarn?  Please?

Would she wear something like a shawl? There's a nice, lacy pattern in Melanie Falick's Weekend Knitting, and people have been posting a bunch made from online patterns as well.
