Ok well heres some pics I took of my mate once she let me loose on her face ..... she's very brave. I really love fashion and especially dramatic over-the-top shoot makeup. I wanted this look to have a birds of paradise feel to it. *Hopes that comes across* Anyway I'm not expert photographer ...... so please be kind.

Huh HANG ON ........ howd I put a picture in a post? *please excuse my lack of IT knowledge lol*

I think its great. A friend of mine in college was a theater major and had a theatrical makeup class. I was always her guinea pig for displaying her "makeup concepts" as her professor described it. I'd be a fish, or the wind, or a bird, or representing anger, stuff like that - but it was all very high concept. That is what this reminds me of. Are you into theater/acting makeup at all - because you would probably be really great at it.

That means alot thankyou for your nice words lol.  :DI don't take drama or anything ... I'm still at school. I do think stage makeup in genral is great and I love representing different animals, emotions, personality traits etc with makeup. I hope to do more of this in the future ..... I've always kind of liked the idea of fashion and maybe doing makeup for shoots. But I dunno ..... will see  Grin

WOW!!! I really like that- I think you'd be great doing make-up for shoots, thats the sort of thing I get my models/friends to do when I take pictures for photography at school, and in textiles we had a project where we had to not only make clothes, but make an magazine advert and "sell" our designs and this was the sort of thing that sold products.

Thankyou ..... I'm doing another friend up tomorrow actually ... she has sort of strawberry blonde hair and lots of it so i might crimp it all crazily and backcomb bits ... the makeups gonna be dramatic golds etc with glitter ...... probably on her eyes but I did debate over on like the fullest part of her lips .... think eyes will work better. Will post pics ...
