eek! sewing a zipper on for the first time is a nightmare! but it turned out nice. here is a little change purse thingie made from an old pair of PJS. it needs a lining.

i was scared too but i had found a whole bunch (maybe like 60) of brand new zippers in all colors and sizes at a thrift store for 3.99 so i gotta use them!! my mom told me the first zipper is the hardest but it gets easier! good luck!

Yeah good job on your first zipper! I am impressed! I started sewing when I was 6, but didn't even learn how to put a zipper in until I was forced to in sewing class in high school... Ah I dreaded it. My mom just always put them in for me... hee hee. It does get easier though, your mom is right!
