My apartment has big walls and needed something on it. I wanted some cool pictures of old icons and didn't have the CASH to go buy something framed and big and fancy-pantsy..so I came up with this instead.

So easy!! And it takes up quite a bit of space on our wall.
All you need are:
-cool pics
-some kind of background for the pics to go on (I chose cardstock in different shades of blue)
-a sturdy backing (I used pieces of card board box and glued them on to the back of the cardstock with some rubber cement)
-something to hang them up with (silver yarn for me!)
-tape

Ooooh.  I like that.  I rent, so my walls are all this cream-ish colour that drives me crazy.  A setup like that would definitely help cover the blankness.

WORD...it helps a lot... a little color..

A friend of mine simply made nice, color copies from cool kids books to decorate her house. They wouldn't be more than about 50 cents a copy, I would imagine.

But the question still stands, how about nice, quality movie still? (for not too expensive)

I'm not sure of anywhere on the interenet. But I just went to this POSTER store and they had a bunch of things..for cheap too. I don't know if you have anything like that where you live...I guess you could just look people up individually on the internet and see what pictures you could find!

About where to get pictures . . . I bought a really cool calendar of space photographs for cheap (it was in March). At the end of the year I plan on framing them and bam! there's 12 nice high quality attractive pictures. Even now I bet you could find a place selling calendars for at least half off.
