I have so man of those heart shaped boxes that you get candy in on valentine's day...some are pretty big too.  I always save them cuz I think they're pretty...but what can I do with them?

i made a shrine with it. I glued all kinds of valentine rickrack inside and leaned it on a shelf. I used the queen of hearts cards and plastic hears and red foil and stuff. Sorry no pics

I saw an idea in a magazine where they had cut styrofoam to fit inside the box. Then they inserted tons of dried roses (just the heads, no stems) to fill the whole box. It looked so beautiful and you could still close the box to keep them dust-free. Even if you hadn't kept flowers from past bouquets, you could buy dried roses or fresh roses and dry them.
