My new hot hot skirt.. made from 3!! of my boyfriend's brother's t-shirts cut up.. But it was so super easy! I was amazed at how cool it looked. It took about the time it takes to watch Star Wars: A New Hope with a run with the dog in the middle somewhere.

ps its not as light as it looks in the pictures, i had to edit it because i couldn't catch the ruffles with the lighting in my room.
------------------> HERES THE TUTORIAL!<--------------------

Its a little confusing but once you're doing it you'll understand! <3

WOWZA!  I am so insanely jealous of your skirt.  Like, woah.  May I be the first to ask for a tute?

that's so cute, and I UNDERSTAND THE TUTORIAL! one question, though:
do you think one could sew the ruffles on each side of the skirt before sewing the sides together? I'm not one for sewing three-dimensional objects (well, you know what I mean-- stuff that has a shape other than "flat piece of fabric")

Yeah that would work just fine.. just leave the edges un-finished on the ruffles so that you can sew them to the one across from them once you've gotten it put together. Or i bet you could even finish them and then sew them inside the seam for a totally different look!

They didn't agree on much. In fact they rarely agreed on anything. They fought all the time and they challenged each other everyday. But in spite of their differences they had one important thing in common. They were crazy about each other.

In the tutorial you say 1/2 of the waist and 1/2 and largest part of the hips.
Do you mean that when I for example measure 20, I have to take 10 or do I have to double and take 40?
I haven't read anymore yet, so maybe I'll ask more soon
