I feel like a dolt for asking this, but where do you purchase additional feet for your machine?  I bought my machine at Sears (it's a Janome) but I shouldn't need to buy feet only from Janome right? Can I only do this online or at a sewing machine repair shop?

I don't have that particular brand of machine, but my Hancock's Fabric store sells feet. You could take one of yours in and see if they have what you need.

I live about a billion miles away from a Hancock.  (Why is it that there are no good craft stores in the north east!) They don't seem to sell them at Joann's, Michael's, or the Rag Shop, which are my options.

I bought my machine at Sears too, and they'll replace and reorder any kind of feet you need.  The delivery time was REALLY super fast, too!

Thanks, yes I have, many times.  BTW, I think your machine takes a short shank foot or a snap-on foot.
