Love that, but how do you follow a chart?  Left to right or right to left?

You start from the bottom right hand corner and work right to left. It does take a bit of getting used to, but once you figure it out, it goes pretty quick!

I started this last night...thanks for the pattern!
And the wrong side rows of the chart should be worked left to right....is that correct?

I worked them right to left...  I do think it's supposed to be the other way, but after 2 pattern repeats I wasn't about to frog...

Can't wait to see your scarf! (Hmm.. "mathgirl"..  I'm a math girl too...  Grin )

Beautiful scarf,  I usually shy away from scarfs, and I am not sure why.  I think I will make this one.  I love the leaf pattern and the color you chose.  Good work!

I love this scarf, but abbreviations are my enemy.  What does "tbl" stand for?

tbl = through back loop

Ya, I wasn't quite sure how to purl through the back loop, but I figured it out.

There's a video at http://www.knittinghelp.com/knitting/abbreviations_explained/
