For those wondering what sea glass is. It's a term my aunt uses for these colored pieces of glass we pick up on the beach around Lake Michigan. They've been in the lake so long that the edges are smooth. I have some pretty pieces I want to make jewelry out of but don't have the slightest idea how to put a whole in one. Any ideas or tips?

Merci!

I have a tendency to just wire wrap mine, since i about cut my finger open trying to dremel mine.  I guess i could wear gloves and be brave, but a nice little silver wire cage seems to do it for me.

also, like theartofmegan said, try wire wrapping, with some creativeness, wire and your sea glass, who knows what you'll end up with! i hope the links help out, if not, i could try to find some more.

Thanks so much! I'll probably try the wire idea. But thanks again!
