I scored books like this at our GW the other day for 50 cents each. I didn't get all of them, but I'm thinking about going back to get the rest! I picked up Goya, Da Vinci, St. Francis, and Dante. They're so beautiful!

I saw the hardcover book thread, so I have a few ideas. Just wondering if this subject gives anyone a new idea for me. In addition to handbags, I'm thinking about sketchbooks (books, covered in art, to draw art in! <awesome!>). Also thinking about an art-y theme in my study - maybe decoupaging my beat up desk with the pages, and making stand up organizers out of the covers or something.

They're so gorgeous, I might leave them as ::gasp:: books to just look at.  Grin

I think Book hand bags are definatly the way to go...its different, and you can show off their beauty with some styleized flair.
