Battle Royale coffee table - I'm in love!

My sister gave me this table, very not my style at all! At first I thought I'd just get a rid of it, but then I realized our old table was ...well...old. So, I decide to do something for the new table...and here we go: Our new Battle Royale coffe table (not really sure if this is a coffee table or not -sorry)

Thats freakin awesome. Does it have a top coat on it?? Ugggggnnn i want to do that to my dressers.. I would if my boyfriends mom would have a fit since she just bought them new.
