Hello everyone.

I have been looking for patterns for knitting small anaimals of all kinds.  Nothing bigger than a couple of inches. Just small little projects to use up my spare wool and that would make great little gift. So if you know of any it would be greatly appreciated.

Knits for Kids has alot of animals, you can make then smaller by using smaller needles.

Knitty.com had some directions for finger puppets - they called them something amusing.....(think think).....

I have this great book called 'Make A Square, Knit A Toy'. It was about $3 on the bargain books rack at Barnes & Noble, but you can get it as low as $1.50 on half.com:

There's lots of great projects in there, perfect for a beginner or (like me) a really impatient person. Wink

Woo, gotta love $3 books. Smiley I wish 'The World of Knitted Toys' would come down to that price, but I'm thinking the best I can do is $10 on half.com

i finished up the little crocheted birdie today.  he's very cute!!!  let me just say that at the end of the pattern the whole tail thing wasn't making sense.  i just started making crap up, turned my bird wrong side out, stuffed it, & by golly, it looks pretty much the same!!  the turtle loves his new friend!!

birdie link i got from jmesdiylounge:
