I recently found that there's a SnB meeting in Des Moines on the 3rd Sunday of the month from 1-4 pm at Ritual Cafe (between Grand & Locust), near the new DSM public library.

Here's a link to learn more:

FYI, the next stitch n' bitch will be this Sunday.  I'm hoping to go for the first time.

Do you know if they are still meeting? Undecided I clicked on the link to Yahoo Groups, and they said that the group no longer existed on Yahoo.

Yes, we are still meeting.  The online group disbanded this week, but we are still meeting the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month at Ritual Cafe (13th and Locust).  Hope to see you there soon!.

What is your group all about?

We get together to craft and drink good coffee. Smiley  We've had knitters, crocheters, and beaders all join in on the fun.

I live in west des moines and would be interested in getting together with some fellow crafters in des moines. Do you still meet? I noticed that your post was from january.

I avoided this before because I don't knit I am glad I read it better. I crochet and do tons of other crafts. I may try to make it. Sundays are busy for me but it sounds like fun.

Yes, it still goes on.  I haven't made it to a meeting at all this Summer, but am hoping to get back into it this Fall.  I think it would be great therapy for my broken arm, which is on the mends (now that I have the ok from my Dr.)

I've been meaning to go for ages but haven't gotten around to it. I live in Winterset, which isn't too far away. I haven't been to any SnB meeting anywhere, and I do love the Ritual Cafe.
