Hey...this a waaaaay old thread, but I'm wondering if they still get together?  I've just missed the 3rd Sunday for last month, but guess I'd have 3 weeks to plan for the next one.

Hey, guys... if no one replies... I'm always up for starting a new SnB group. I've wanted one in central Iowa for a while, but found none. Sad It's a bummer... but we rock as much as the bigger cities, and we need to have representation of our awesomeness.

I would love to find one in the Ames area if any one knows? I know there's the cart thing, but that sounds way too artsy...

I went to the Creative Collision get together this past Wednesday in Ames (this one was a wheatsfield grocery) and it was pretty cool. It was my first time meeting/ crafting in public. Most people there where crocheting or knitting. I was making felt flowers, another lady was making felt and ric rak flowers, someone was making a doll (I think, I was to far away to hear her talking about what she was making), and someone was doing macram.

It was very laid back and fun.

They meet the first Wednesday of the month. The next one is March 9th, but I am not sure what time. If you are on Facebook, you can get an invite if you friend Ames C.Art, or here is there blog http://amescart.org/blog/
