Hello all.

I am in dire need of some MAJOR assistance!  I don't know if anyone here can help me, but I just got assigned a project today in school, and I need help with ideas.  I have to make a visual about Victorian Age/Pre-Raphaelite art.  I got stuck with someone that is uninterested and un-artisitic and I NEED THIS GRADE!  The teacher was very vague... she literally just said, "You need a visual."  My topic is:

Victorian Age: 1837-1901
The Nature of Art & Its Place in Society: (Art & the Middle-Class Mind; the Victorian artist; the Pre-Raphaelites)

Does anyone have any ideas?  I'd really appreciate it!  It's due August 23rd, and I wanted to do something slightly more original than just pasting some pictures on poster board, pointing at them, and droning on about who painted them and when....

Maybe do a board about symbolism with, for example, many of the ways flowers symbolized fetility, even use your own illustrations and just cite examples. Use many examples, just one, whatev!  Smiley
Or if symbolism isn't your scene, another aspect of art, like if you were doing the Renaissance you may put together a visual about the use of chiaroscuro and how it's done, why it works, etc.
Just a couple ideas... best of luck! I know how much vague directions suck in school  Tongue

How about a video with you dressed and posed with a backdrop as if you're a pre-raphaelite painting and you step out of 2D into real life and start talking about art as it is in your present (as a pre-raphaelite model)....
Might be a bit wacky but it would be fun to do. Good luck with your assignment!
