I made one! Two, actually. I stenciled a guitar on one, and a martini glass on the other, before I poked the holes.

you could create little hooks to go in the cd to hookup necklaces and bracelets and the like...

That is really neat.

I've done the same with those aol tins that are everywhere, I just covered the cd/tin with that self adhesive fabric you can find at wal-mart. I used the tin for super large fluffy earing to keep them straight and closed up from things can get them dirty..
