I've always had a ton of earrings just laying around, getting all crumpled and tangled up, resulting in me being late to the bus multiple times from trying to get a pair of earrings out! So I came home one day determined to fix this problem, and what did I see? A couple of blank CD's on my desk, waiting to be transformed.
Voila!
What I did was lay the CD down on a piece of wood, hold a needle with wire clippers so I didn't burn myself, and then heated the needle under a lighter.  When the needle was hot enough, I just poked a hole through the CD and then put my earring in it! Then I hung them up with some ribbon.

Thanks guys! I'm ultra happy that you like it! (And it does take awhile to do the holes, I just did it whenever I had a spare minute)

Even though my ears aren't pierced and I don't own any earrings whatsoever, I'd totally do that if I did. I wonder if there's anything else I can hang from old cds? I'll have to ponder that for a while... Roll Eyes

VERY COOL!

I made one! Two, actually. I stenciled a guitar on one, and a martini glass on the other, before I poked the holes.

Very fun.  Smiley

That is really neat.

I've done the same with those aol tins that are everywhere, I just covered the cd/tin with that self adhesive fabric you can find at wal-mart. I used the tin for super large fluffy earing to keep them straight and closed up from things can get them dirty..

I wanna see it Sad for some reason I can't see some images on some sites on this computer... my dad won't sort out the problem and I'm not allowed to try sort it out myself Angry I think it's to do with file hostin but I'm not sure... could someone pretty please host the picture on another hosting site so I know if my theory's right? Plus I want to see the cd earring holder, I could possibly do this as little presents for friends...
