Ok, I am finally getting around to posting what I sent pretendpeterpan.
The bag with library card holder attachment.

A pin that says "Reading is sexy", the "I heart Books" actually has pin backs on it,the necklace, and the 3 bookmarks.

Necklace close up " Librarians are sexy"

I hope her stuff gets here soon. I'm going crazy!

hey everyone,
this was my first swap and thanks to my partner, melladh, it was a great experience. melladh, wildly talented girl that she is, sent me the sexiest package. she made a gorgeous, lush velvet bag, big enough for all my books and soft enough to cuddle up with, the coolest bookmark (i've never heard ot tatting, but i'm going to learn asap), an awesome address book with a pin up girl actually reading a book (where she found it, i will never know), and two picture frames covered in scraps of swedish writing. SO COOL.
i'll try to post pictures but it might take a while as i now have a digital camera but no computer to call my own. soon, though, soon.
again, thanks for the great swap and all the cool stuff.
melladh is my hero.

I got my package from Aspiring yesterday. She sent me an awesome package full of some great stuff. A pillow case embroidered with a Shel Silverstein illustration, a notecard, some bookthongs, a bookmark and an address book (which are so cute), and some info about the Toronto public library and the cbc lockout that's going on right now. Thank you for the post card to the PM about it, by the way. I am going to make sure to mail it! And also, she was amazingly nice and got me a dvd of the movie Party girl. I've never seen the movie, but I love Parker Posey so much! I think she's great, but the video store near me doesn't have the movie. I'm excited to finally be able to see it! Thank you so much Carla for such a great and thoughtful package!

I got my package from pretendpeterpan today and I am soooo happy!!
The bag with the sexy librarian on the front. Her glasses have stars in the corners!!

The note she sent with it said that the frame could hold a pic, but the boy and I like it as is. I think we'll put it up with the note in it.

The bookmarks are great and have these fun, almost squishy beads on the ends.

I love the pink one so much I'm already using it!

Thanks so much for a grat swap!!

btw: Party Girl (the dvd I got for Rosered) is a hilarious film that takes place partly in a library, and all of you bookish types should see it!  So funny.

So glad you got the parcel, Rosered.  Sorry I was late!

A friend of mine was supposedly an extra in that movie when it was made so long ago. I'd like to see it someday.
That pillowcase is so cute!! Great job!

Yay! I'm glad you liked the stuff Sweettart3. I didn't make as much as I wanted, but I was desperately hoping quality could sub for quantity.
