It's a sunny day everyday with my new "Sunny Day Clutch"!

Crocheted with a G-sized hook, Caron Simply Soft Brites Yarn in Limelight and Blue Mint, and Red Heart Classic Yarn in Yellow. The whole bag is stitched using the half-double-crochet stitch; the sun is stitched in single-crochet. I hand-sewed the yellow zipper (thanks Cheryl for the bag of zippers!) since I'm not very good with my sewing machine, nor do I have a zipper foot for it.

Measures approximately 8" x 5".

Smiley thank you!

crochet isn't that hard to pick up. you should pick up a kit when you get a chance and try it! Smiley

How freaking cute!  Love it.  Was the sun was made separately and sewn on?

and the night one sounds like a great idea - i think i might! Smiley

Very cute! I like the night idea. I had a friend who sewed a backpack like that. It as a picture of a tree. When the flap was over it was day time, and when you pulled it up, it was night.

I think it would be cute to do that clutch and have a corresponding change purse as the night one.
