Here goes my first purse post...

I turned my husband's old army hat into a purse! I turned it upside down, added a zipper closure, and attached a belt as a strap. The belt buckle can still be opened and closed, so the strap is adjustable.

Here it is!

Finally a flight cap can have purpose in it's life!

And the belt made a really cool strap!  Did you look for a belt to use, or did you decide after you saw that belt?

Thanks! I knew I wanted to use a belt, and I was looking for a cheap gold belt of some sort. I originally thought it would be one of those metal rings belts.. but this one was on sale at target for like 3 bucks, so I scooped it up!
