I'm sure a lot of you have taken people's trash from the side of the road, right? A lot of really cool recon-ed stuff was someone else's trash first. But how many of you have had people go through your trash? Not just picking through your bulk items on heavy trash day, but like, seriously opening bags and taking stuff? I was shocked when my mom told me the garbage men were taking stuff out of the bag I threw away of crap that was in my room. I mean, seriously... I'm not famous... yet.

Well, anyone have any good garbage-picking stories? Surely you found some cool stuff to make better through craftiness on the side of the road! Share your garbage picking finds here... and, if possible, tell us what you did--crafty wise--to make it better.
