I am still getting all the details. so far I know that they used maple fot the frame. frosted plexiglass and christmas lights. The frame is attached to a 2x4 that is attached to the wall

oh my god... i so have to do this!  i can just see it done painted with dark blue paint and scratching out millions of teeny specks letting the light shine out like stars..... your friend is a GENIUS!!!!!!!!!!! and his wife is futtin lucky Smiley  this totally scratches my idea to make us a giant headboard with our initials on it bert and ernie style.
