Goregous, and you've given me the best idea for my boy's christmas present Smiley

Just wondering, how many skeins did you use?

I love the fleck yarn! And the beauty of your blanketh is in its simplicity - the single crochet, really shows off the pattern of the yarn. I loves it! As for fringe - my own indifferent/inattentive bf says that fringe is definitely not in the book of masculineness. But then, he hates all things crochet-knitting related and doesn't understand why I do it.

When I started knitting I asked him:

"If I knitted you a sweater, would you wear it?"
"Probably not."

"Ok, if I knitted you a hat and scarf, would you wear them?"
"Sounds gay."

"Socks?"
"I can BUY socks."

"Ok...how about I knit you an octopus?"
Silence. "I'll consider it."

And he thinks *I'm* the crazy one. Needless to say, he gets nothing. Plus I skip visiting him so that I can knit. Dumb man. *shoots him the crazyeye*

Very nice Blankie and story my husband also flips through channels on tv and makes me crazy cause I'll be sitting there crocheting and I usually crochet with tv but only listen so when he keeps fliping through it screws up my concentration like fliping channels in my brain. LOL

HEHE  I crochet or cross-stitch or whatever my craft of the day is and listen to the TV.  It absolutely drives me nuts when my husband watches anime, because he only watches it with subtitles and I don't speak japanese.   So I can't understand what they're saying and I have to watch the screen and I get NO CRAFTING DONE... BAH!   Once I asked him if we could watch it dubbed, and he just looked at me like I asked if I could set him afire.    Hubbies.  Undecided

it looks incredibly soft and cuddly...

I've been looking for a project to start and wanted to make something for my boy... and since he's all alone freezing his butt off in a dorm, a simple blanket is perfect Cheesy
