so that plastic grass they sell for easter baskets is not only pricey but also super annoying--esp if you have a cat!

i have a solution for you. if you have a shredder or access to one-- this project is for you

take some green construction paper or regular green copy paper (or any color of your chocie) and send it thru the shedder. its almost free, its fast and best of all its easy. i am going to do this tomorrow and will post how it looks. oh and don't forget to empty the shredder first!

Here is the finished product. I shredded about 8 pieces of construction paper

and the basket filled with goodies

And it's much more environmentally friendly than that icky plastic stuff.  Great idea!
